Korean Fir
Abies Koreana

25’ tall conifer
Full sun

A loosely pyramidal evergreen tree identified by its short, plump needles that are green on top with a silver-lined underside.
Small dark-violet cones, appearing in spring, are highly showy, and produced at a young age. The Korean Fir is generally believed to be more heat-tolerant than other Abies. It is useful as a screen, but deserves a prominent position as a specimen or accent tree. Grows to 25H x 10W in acid soil. Prefers full sun but will tolerate light shade. Hardy in USDA Zones 5-7.
